Dream Cakes South West was set up and established by Debbi Buss out of a desire to combine a lifetime passion of baking with working arrangements that could fit around family life.

Although the business has grown from the early days, the goals remain the same - to provide a stunning cake for every occasion that tastes as good as it looks.  It is Debbi’s attention to every tiny detail that ensures that each cake is special, and using the finest ingredients ensures that the end result passes the taste test.

In addition to the most popular ranges of cakes, Debbi has a great flair for creating unusual designs and she specialises in sugar-flowers and models.

At the beginning of 2011 Debbi unveiled her new ‘cake consultation studio’ which is where all wedding consultations now take place.  This affords couples the opportunity to see examples of Debbi’s work at first hand, whilst tasting some of the flavours available.  Debbi provides a personal and professional service from the original consultation right up to the point of delivery and set up.

Despite the growth, Debbi remains committed to providing an unique and special service for every client which is why only a limited number of cakes are produced each week, to enable the utmost care and attention to be lavished on each creation.

Debbi was delighted when some of her designs were selected for publication by “Wedding Cakes - a Design Source”, the UK’s leading Wedding Cake magazine, and is now a regular contributor.

The portfolio continues to grow and now includes wedding cakes, birthday cakes, children’s cakes, anniversary cakes, Christening cakes, novelty cakes, Corporate cakes and other special occasion celebration cakes for Nailsea, Bristol, Bath, North Somerset and surrounding areas.

The business continues to be run from Debbi’s home in Nailsea, although deliveries as far afield as Pembrokeshire, Newport, Cardiff, Dorset and the Forest of Dean have been fulfilled so far!
